The Revolt of Mother: "Adoniram was like a fortress whose walls had no active resistance, and went down the instant the right besieging tools were used." for me this quote creates a sense of power that was not portrayed at the beginning of the reading. It also shows just how if the right person or thing comes along just how easily things can fall back into contrast and in the right type of control.

Trifles: "I know how things can be--- for women. I tell you, it's queer, Mrs. Peters. We live close together and we live far apart. We all go through the same things-- its all just a different kind of the same thing." this quote spoke clearly to me because it allowed me to think about the many relationships i have with people and how you can be near somebody but at the same time be so distant and estranged......

Children Together: "Your mirror grew ringed with photos of servicemen who had taken your breasts in their hands, the buttons of your blouses in their teeth......" this quote made me think that "Victoria" seemed to very promiscuous. To me it seemed rather strange that there was some sort of obsession or attraction to Victoria but yet she seemed to bed everyone down.
